Last Saturday I celebrate International Women's Day by learning more myself as a woman together with Vibrance. Pelvic floor muscles is one of the most ignored part of our body and in fact it takes up huge responsibilities in our important life experiences through womanhood including sexual intimacy, physical activities, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and old age. Taking care of our pelvic floor muscles is essential to make each of these experiences enjoyable and less daunting.
And the only way to strengthen our pelvic floor muscles is through Kegel exercise where it would help to improve muscle tone by strengthening the pubococcygeus muscles of the pelvic floor. Besides that kegel is a popular prescribed exercise for pregnant women to prepare the pelvic floor for physiological stresses of the later stages of pregnancy and childbirth.
There are so many reasons why we should practice kegel exercise.
Kegel exercise can be practice by anyone , whether you are married or not because bladder control difficulties are very common and often make women shy away from social surroundings as it becomes hindering & embarrassing. Hence the only way to prevent or cure incontinence effectively is through understanding and practicing pelvic floor exercises.
Having healthier pelvic floor muscles help your bladder stay closed, actively squeezing when you cough or sneeze to help avoid leaking.
Before we learn more about Vibrance Kegel device, we had an hour morning yoga with Iris from Myoga, The Gardens Mall . She shared how to strengthened our pelvis floor muscles through yoga.
And to be honest, this is my first time doing yoga.
I always thought it's easy but it's not. Yoga is an exercise that incorporates strengthening, breathing, stretching and balance.

After the workout, we had a short presentation about what is this Vibrance Kegel Device. Remembered just now I mentioned kegel exercise can be done at anywhere.
However a lot people has difficulty in locating their pelvic floor muscle and unsure if they did the correct way.
