Review : CUSKIN Super Sun Block Liquid 50 SPH PA+++

A while ago, I reviewed CUSKIN Whitening & Wrinkle Repair BB Cream and today am reviewing their CUSKIN Super Sun Block Liquid 50 SPH PA+++! And like I mentioned in my previous post CUSKIN is one of the leading Global Cosmeceutical Brand in Korea and its dermatologist tested.

According to the description, this is oil-free sun block intercepting UVB and UVA with light feeling of touch. It effectively protecting from UV rays and providing fresh feeling of application without being glossy and sticky. And it is sweat and water resistant.

Key ingredients : Zinc Oxide , Titanium Dioxide, Octylmethaxy cinnamate

Shake well before I use

Color : White

Texture : Milky lotion type

Result : It does not left any white cast on my skin upon application. Although it stated its oil free and would not look glossy after application, however I feel a bit oily and glossy after application.

Pros : High SPH coverage, no white cast after application, sweat/water resistence
Cons : Oily & expensive

Review : CUSKIN Whitening & Wrinkle Repair BB Cream

I received few products and one of it is CUSKIN Whitening & Wrinkle Repair BB Cream . And yes BB cream ( or also known as Blemish Balm Cream) is the in thing in Korea now.

According to their brochure, it quickly soothes red and sensitive skin naturally convers and protects skin and help brighten and repair wrinkles for saggy and lifeless skin. A a product with its whitening repairing functions approved by Korean FDA, components of Arbutin and Adenosine help brighten skin and repair skin and repair wrinkles.

Ingredients : Aloe Vera, Portucala Oleracea L.extract, Arbutin, Adenosine, Allantoin

Color : Light Beige

Smell : Light pleasant scented

Texture : Creamy thick. Just need a little bit to apply the whole face.

Feeling : Does not feel sticky or oily after whole day of application.

My review : The BB cream was rather creamy and I have a little tough time to apply my whole face with it. However once I am done, the BB cream sink into my skin. From the above picture which I took at the same location and lighting, my skin tone appear more even/brighter and manage to cover the redness on my skin. Pores appear a little bit smaller too. HOWEVER the ugly truth is my skin looked grey immediately after application and this is a big turn off. I do not know whether if its my Asian yellow skin tone color that does not suit the BB cream.

I am not sure if it helps caring wrinkles (as currently I have fine lines atm) and brighten up my skin as I have not see such an effect yet.

Warning: Below is a picture of proof and it is not for people with weak heart.

And I look ghostly here. Such a big difference between my face and neck.

Pros : Brighter and even skin tone, cover my redness, pores appears a little bit smaller, not oily or sticky after whole day wearing

Cons : My skin color turn grey after application and pricey
