Review of DKNY Golden Delicious EDP & Unveiling DKNY First-ever Million Dollar Fragrance Bottle

Wondering if any of you know that recently DKNY has launched a new perfume to the family of DKNY Delicious. DKNY Golden Delicious Eau De Parfum is the newest, most regal apple of the DKNY Delicious collection.

I attended their official launch of this perfume few months back at Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar in Bangsar Village 1. I love how the place was beautifully decorated with golden decorations.

DKNY Golden Delicious embraces a radiant modern spirit with the contrast of glistening florals and delicious heat. The top is a refreshing medley of Orange Flower Water, sparkling Mirabelle and signature Golden Delicious Apple. The heart introduces an intoxicating bouquet of White Rose, Casablanca Lily, Vanilla Orchid and Muget, while the finish spices up the freshness with a sensual blend of Musk, Sandalwood and Teakwood. It’s a scent created to tantalize the senses—bask in its rich elegance as well as its imperial glory.


Echoing its name, DKNY GOLDEN DELICIOUS is a gold transformation of the iconic Be Delicious bottle. The cap and iconic oval DKNY logo are a glistening metallic and the rich, clear glass reveals the gold-tinted juice.

Review: Personally I love DKNY Delicious collection. However DKNY Golden Delicious would be my favourite because this has stronger floral smell while preserving the signature Delicious Apple smell. The smell is more warm, tempting and sensual compared to the DKNY Be Delicious Apple which is more fresh. And since I own both of the perfume, I would think Golden Delicious would be a great perfume for night while DKNY Be Delicious fragrance which is more light and fresh smell is suitable for my day use.

In the event, there was 2 good looking men in black guarding something . Everyone was curious and wondering what was it !!!

At the event, they unveiled DKNY First-ever Million Dollar Fragrance Bottle which is the world's most expensive fragrance.

DKNY, the iconic New York inspired fashion label, launches the first ever Million Dollar fragrance bottle, making it the most regal apple yet to join the DKNY Fragrance franchise. DKNY Fragrances partnered with celebrity jeweler, Martin Katz, who used the new DKNY Golden Delicious Eau de Parfum as inspiration behind this unique, one-of-a-kind design.



The Million Dollar bottle which was beautifully designed by Martin Katz comprised of 18K yellow gold with a rock crystal base. It is adorned with over 2000 stones sourced from all over the world including emeralds from Columbia, rubies and sapphires from Asia and precious stones from Brazil. Each stone was hand placed on the bottle which took nearly 1500 hours to make.

The Million Dollar DKNY bottle has gone for a world tour making stops at various events and fragrance retailers including the United States, Asia, and Europe. The round-the-world expedition making its final stop on DKNY’s Facebook page where it will be available for purchase, net proceeds going to Action Against Hunger – a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger.

At the event , member of medias are invited to decorate our own million dollar golden apple.

Review: DKNY new lighter & brighter way to Be Delicious Eau de Toilette

First of all, DKNY has just appointed Lara Stone as the new face for their promotion campaign. She has he seductive, approachable, sweet and sophisticated look that match perfectly with the spirit of DKNY and Be Delicious! So keep an eyes on the DKNY's poster, she is the new girl on the block!

Few months back, I was invited to DKNY Be Delicious EDT Press Launch which was held in House+Co in Bangsar Shopping Centre.

It was to launched DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Toilette (EDT), in celebrating of the 5-year anniversary of DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Parfum (EDP) which now successfully sold almost 8 bottles a minute worldwide.

Someone did ask me what is the different between EDP and EDT. Usually EDP is more concentrate due to higher level of perfume oil put into the bottle and EDT is usually a lighter and more refreshing version of EDP. And depends on personal preference how strong perfume smell you want to suit your mood!

DKNY Be Delicious itself contains the juice of American Apple note, a natural apple extract developed exclusively for DKNY and used first time in perfumery. Crisp, green wellness of cucumber blends with a sparkling grapefruit note while candid magnolia rounds the top leads into a generous airy heart

A hint of tuberose conveys a touch of mysterious exoticism and connects with white muguet rose and a shining violet to express the spontaneity of lovers. The graceful and long lasting dry down evolves smooth sandalwood, blonde woods and white amber for depth and elegant sensuality.

And today DKNY launched Eau de Toilette which is now lighter, brighter, more sparkling and refreshing compare to Eau de Parfum.

Honestly when I first try DKNY Be Delicious EDP, I like it... smell very fruity & floral.

However when I tried this EDT, I totally in love with this before this is so refreshing and do not feel too overwhelming. I guess for different occasion I would love to choose different perfume scent to suit my mood. EDP would be a perfect choice as it smells very refreshing and will keep me smell good rest of the day. And I think the smell lasts me so good for around 6-8 hours!

p/s: I like how round the bottle of perfume it, so easy to hold!
