Review & Photos: Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Range did deliver what it promises!

If you have been following my Instagram @jessyings, you will see that I have been actively travelling this year to few countries earlier this year. It's really fun but tiring. My skin has been exposed to sun for long hours especially when I was backpacking in Sri Lanka for a week in June 2015. 

Although I did not get sunburn because I was applying sunblock religiously but my skin definitely got darker and dehydrated every time I came back from my holiday. And to be honest it's difficult for me to get restore back my original skin tone colour and radiant. So when Estee Lauder Malaysia offered me to try their latest brightening range, I took up the challenge with the hope to restore back my skin color and condition. 

Estee Lauder Scientists’ latest cutting-edge research has uncovered that pigmentation has a definitive circadian rhythm, meaning that hyperpigmentation is impacted by skin’s own day/night cycle. Each day, skin accumulates damage from multiple assaults that can trigger melanin production and lead to spots and hyperpigmentation. In other words, exposure to environmental assaults during the day can trigger melanin production at night.

With me here 3 products from the range, namely Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Treatment Lotion, Spot Correcting Essence and Moisture Creme where I put them to review for exactly one month. I was supposed to post up this review so much earlier but was busy with work and needed more time to write although I had took the pictures some time back. Oh well...oh well here is my review of the all the products range in details :)

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Treatment Lotion is selling at RM 201 for about 200ml

Infusing skin with the exclusive NEW Light Cycle QD Complex, this Japan Quasi-Drug Whitening & Anti-Inflammatory (China Special Function Spot) formula helps correct the look of dark spots and prevent new ones from forming. Skin is revitalized with a surge of hydration and prepared to maximize benefits from the formulas that follow.

I really like this lotion, like the name suggested it really prep the skin with moisture and making it supple and soft. Instead of using cotton pad, I prepared to dab and press it into my skin for better absorption. It smells has a mild pleasant floral scent and it makes me feel calm as I applied on my face.

NEW Crescent White’s scent, developed in Asia, captures a prestigious femininity in the tender and gentle fragrance. Inspired by beautiful white florals and the purity of hibiscus, the notes of white blooms are enveloped with a soft aquatic freshness for a reviving yet relaxing sensation. Watery accents of lychee and pear gently stimulate the senses while the sensuous woods and sheer musks enhance inner strength. Presents a refined level of sophistication with a creation that exudes femininity, elegance and prestige. 

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence is selling at RM 402/30ml. 

I read that this high-performance essence evens skin tone and significantly reduce the look of dark spots. Dullness disappears until light seems to come from deep within. Pure and potent, the Japan Quasi-Drug Whitening & Anti-Inflammatory formula features the complete NEW Light Cycle QD Complex.

The serum also feature similar scent like the lotion. The texture is lightweight and absorb almost immediately after applying. One of my favourite from this range! And usually after applying the whole face, I took half a pump to massage on target area .... with the hope my dark spot will be lighten... 

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Moisture Creme is selling at RM280/50ml

This also has signature floral scent. The texture is very creamy yet not sticky as it absorbs quickly into my skin when I massage it on my face. Love how it feels really comfortable on my skin because it think it helps to strengthen my skin’s moisture barrier. I can feel my skin was feeling bouncy and smoother after I woke up in the morning although I was sleeping in the air-condition room all night long. As this is a product under the whitening range, it also help correct the look of dark spots and prevent new ones... making our skin more even-toned and bright in the long run.

And the best way to show you how this Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening really works on my skin is to show you a before & after pic. My skin is glowing!!!! Pores looks smaller, skin looks more hydrated & brighter, dark spots seem to looks lighter now and more importantly overall my skin tone has been restore!! Oh my ...oh my...the result is so obvious that honestly that I don't think I need to elaborate further. 

The result is clear, Estee Lauder did deliver what it promises.

Estee Lauder introduced the NEW Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Malaysia.

In Malaysia we have total of 16 shades under Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick that is set to enchance and brighten the complexion of Asian women. A luminous shade range of nuanced hues with pops of bright tones include delicate nudes, captivating corals, demure pinks and heavenly berries. All create enviable lip-sculpting statements that range from a fresh look to a soft glamour look.

My immediate pick is under the Corals to Reds shade because I have pinkish lips colour and I always feel coral lipstick looks great against my skin colour. Initially I picked Surreal Sun but it was not available so I was settled with Boudoir Baby.

And last week when I was in Bangkok and I managed to see this collection at the counter and get both of them swatch side by side. Surreal Sun looks coralish with a hint of pink while Boudoir Baby is coralish with a hint of brown. I think Surreal Sun colours is absolutely beautiful - got to check out this soon! 

Back to my review, the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick's design is inspired by modern architecture, the new and iconic, slim-line package design is powerful, yet feminine. Its lines are contemporary, with a sleek and elegant silhouette. The color cues reflect Estée Lauder’s signature navy and gold, while golden plaques at each end of the case, and golden tones within the interior, convey the modern glamour and style of the brand. 

I love how the casing of Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick which has the magnetic closure and it always clicks the case perfectly into place every time without fail. The new aspirational bullet shape make this ultrachic lipstick a statement in pure luxury.

This Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick promise Illuminate, Sculpt and Hydrate.

This Asian exclusive lipstick does more than a lipstick as it gives moisture and shine, surrounds lips with effortless, luminous color, and adds dimension for a fuller, more sculpted pout. 

I do find this Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Boudoir Baby looks more coral pinkish before I swactched.

Here are 3 layers of swatch of Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Boudoir Baby.

I do find  that with 1 layer it is a little bit too sheer but it's buildable and looks pretty after the 3rd layer. Even with just 1 layer I can see there there is a high-shine finishing. Also Estee Lauder has included Multi-Faceted Color Pigments that create shape, definition and volume. 

It looks coral with a hint of brown on my hand , I do realised it looks a little different from the picture above. I think maybe because the lipstick picture was taken indoor and the swatch was taken under natural sunlight. Well let me show you how it looks on my lips.

My Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick (Boudoir Baby) review

Texture & Hydration

The texture is creamy, smooth and it easily glides through my lips comfortably. I am happy to report that I could apply this lipstick without puting on my lip balm first as the lipstick is really hydrating and has long lasting moisture. I guess the new and exclusive Time Release Encapsulated Moisture Complex with micronized Hyaluronic Spheres ingredient that help boost lips’ ability to attract, capture and seal-in continuous hydration. No wonder I felt my lips soft, smooth and stay continuously moisturized throughout the day. Compared to the US version, I read that it's less hydrated so I'm really happy with our Asian exclusive ones now :)

Scent 

I am glad to find that this Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick has no scent at all! *jump around happily!* I still remembered the EL Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick which I had .. has a sweet vanilla scent which I am not really a big fan of it all!

Lasting power & Shine

Honestly the staying power is about few hours including a meal in between and for me that's good enough as long it keeps my lip moist. 

As I mentioned earlier on my lips colour are pretty pinkish and this Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Boudoir Baby turns to complement it so well. 

Personally I think Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick would sell pretty well because it fulfils what a women wants in a lipstick - the illuminating colour, shine, long lasting moisture plus the magnetic ultrachic lipstick packaging which gives the feel of pure luxury. 

Now that I have tried the colour, I love the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Boudoir Baby colour as it will actually suits for all occasion and makeup.

I am proud that I have just completed my first breast cancer charity walk for this year in Putrajaya last Sunday!

Well this year is Estee Lauder Companies 20th anniversary of its global Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign. The 2012 Campaign theme is Courage. Believe in a world without breast cancer. This year‟s bold, empowering message highlights the Company‟s 20 year commitment to defeating breast cancer through education and medical research and celebrates the life and legacy of BCA Campaign Founder and Pink Ribbon co-creator, Mrs. Evelyn H. Lauder 

This milestone BCA Campaign is dedicated to the tremendous courage of Evelyn Lauder and her unwavering commitment to eradicate breast cancer. In 1992, during a time when thousands were dying from the disease yet it was only spoken about in whispers, she launched the Estée Lauder Companies‟ BCA Campaign to raise awareness for the disease, encouraging women everywhere to practice breast health, while working tirelessly to raise funds for the critical research needed to find a cure.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN MALAYSIA
In Malaysia, the Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia has been advocating this campaign since 1996. In the past 16 years, the Company has distributed more than a million Breast Self Examination instructional cards and pink ribbons, and has donated RM2.75 million to this cause to beneficiaries. PINK RIBBON CHARITY WALK AND LANDMARK ILLUMINATION 
Happening at the National Science Museum from 4pm to 8pm, on Saturday, 29th September 2012, a total of 2,000 participants are expected to take part in this 3.5km charity walk. For just a fee of RM50 per entry, which will be donated to charity, participants will not only be able to be part of this fun activity but will also get a chance to show their support for the Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia‟s Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign. To celebrate the start of the campaign, the National Science Museum will be illuminated in pink as part of the campaign‟s landmark illumination activity each year.

PINK RIBBON CHARITY GOLF 
An annual fundraising event for the past 12 years in the history of the Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign, the Pink Ribbon Charity Golf event will see 120 avid golfers come together for a purpose – to tee off in the name of charity. Happening Wednesday, 17th October 2012 at the East Course of the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, golfers need only pay RM900 per person or RM3,600 per flight, which will be donated to charity. PINK RIBBON CHARITY BALL

 The Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia will work closely with Malaysia‟s National Cancer Society and the College of Radiology in the Mammogram Sponsorship Programme to visit rural villages and urban poor areas in Malaysia so that experts can educate the women there about the importance of a self-breast examination and mammograms as well as provide transportation to local hospitals so that these women can have their mammograms done for free. To help fund the programme, Malaysians are invited to make a donation of RM50 whereby the Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia will then match the total amount donated for this programme. Estee Lauder Model Search Grand Finale

Last month Estee Lauder Model Search Pure Color "It" Girl is finally coming to an end by having it finale at Suria KLCC Concourse Area. It was a night full of glitz and glamour as a number of local celebrities are the VIPs of the night. Nazruddin (better known as Naz) was the MC of the night !

The judges panel comprises of representatives from Estee Lauder and its partner and industry expert such as

Estee Lauder Companies Beautiful Earth Campaign

The Beautiful Earth campaign is back as Estee Lauder Companies (ELC) invited 12 celebrities to become this Beautiful Earth Campaign Ambassador and one of them is Zainal Abidin who composed & sung the beautiful of song HIJAU (Green) back in 1988 ( 23 years ago) telling people to save the earth from dying. And back then, people take for granted and care less!! And today with the global changes and everyone are more concern about it.

And this year Estee Lauder Companies will aim to educate the public on the importance of environmental sustenance, reduce the use of one-time plastic bags and paper bags, as well as aim to raise funds to repopulate its mangrove swamplands in Sungai Sepang Kecil.



ELC partners up with Parkson Corporation to bring you the Beautiful Earth 2011 campaign. Through its A Bag for a Tree project, you can take part in this effort as well.
